Lohri, the cheerful festival of Punjabi’s is also known as the Harvest festival which brings good luck, happiness and prosperity in lives of all. It is celebrated on the 13th of January every year and is known as an occasion of great joy and happiness. It also marks the end of the winter season.An activity was organised for grade 3rd to 8th. Students of classes 3rd to 5th celebrated Lohri by making disparate creative cards and grade 6th to 8th students exhibited their creativity by making various handmade kites. All faculty members gathered around bonfire and threw sweets and puffed rice in the flame.They enjoyed this day with full zeal and enthusiasm.
